Lockdown Procedure
For YOUR health and safety during this time, we have ensured that all the necessary procedures for the practice and all equipment have been taken for your well being as well as our staff.
Restricted hours and limited appointments will apply to ensure our staff and you will be back home for governmental curfews that have been implemented, as well as to minimize contact with other patients and to allow adequate time to disinfect before your next appointment.

Eye examinations
Eye tests can be done with health and safety regulations in place.
Eye tests will be done on appointment basis only.
Masks will always be worn by the Practitioner, Patients, and staff.
Staff Temperature will be taken throughout the day and our patients before entering the test room.
All equipment used will be sanitised with an alcohol swab before use.
Appointments will be scheduled on an hourly basis to minimise contact with other patients and to allow adequate time to disinfect equipment and store.
Only one patient will be allowed in the consultation room with the optometrist at a time, unless someone needs to be accompanied e.g., elderly, or young children.
If you are travelling from far, we can email and/or Whatsapp a permit to you to travel to our practice for your appointment.
New Patients will be emailed an information form to reduce your need to touch and fill in forms in store.
Spectacles
New spectacles can be made if the stock falls within our stock range.
Lenses from our suppliers may take longer than usual as they are working with limited stock due to the restrictions on international supply and minimum lab staff, as required by governmental rules.
We will try expediting all urgent orders.
Contact lenses
Contact lenses may be ordered and currently the normal delivery period has been noted.
Safety first
Customers must follow our health and safety guidelines by wearing safety masks and sanitisers will be supplied everywhere in our store.
Everyone will be asked to sanitise before choosing frames and all frames tried on will be sanitised afterwards.
All touch points, Pens and Credit card machines will be sanitised before you use them (We recommend bringing in and using your own pen).
Please try not to touch any surfaces in the store you do not have to touch.
